Finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel. As the vaccination programme proceeds across the country, we are progressing along the Government's road map out of the COVID restrictions.
The Bishop Middleham Club will restart on Wednesday 26th May. The training will initially be limited to just six people including myself. If there is the demand, we may look to having two sessions. We will concentrate on weapons work as we must still be socially distanced. You will need to bring your own weapons, wear a mask and come changed ready to train. It is hoped that in a few weeks the restrictions will be lifted further but this will be a great start.
Everyone will need to renew their insurance (£15 per annum) and the training fee will be £5 as normal. You will also need to fill out a student indemnity form for every session, these can be downloaded from the JAC website: - http://jointaikikaicouncil.
To book a place please text 07467 121254 stating the date you wish to attend. I will confirm availability to the first five and advise if the class is already full to the others.
This will be the first club in our group to reopen but it is hoped that other clubs will follow very quickly
For and on behalf of the instructor team.
